Senese Black and White

The stunning and precious flooring of the Duomo of Siena and its incredible marble marquetry inspire this collection. Among these, the memorable representations of the deer’s staring at each others with the geometrical elements that frame this unique sienese black and white style. The traditional majolica is supported by the study on black soil of white enamel, recalling from a material standpoint the colours of Siena’s Cathedral. With this special background stand out the Sibyls, finely and masterfully designed exclusively for our Store. Along with the classical decorations and the artistic reproductions, we have included embroidery of Renaissance inspiration whose colours in the sienese version appear lighter, promoting further brightness of the surface of the pottery.
